MISSION & VISION

Our mission is to empower and uplift East African communities through innovative and sustainable solutions that address critical needs in water, income security, and health.
We envision a world where every community thrives with sustainable access to clean water, economic opportunities, and health, achieved through solutions that foster resilience and self-reliance in rural communities.

OUR PILLARS

Water

Access to clean water is essential for health, economic growth, and community well-being.

Income Security

We support sustainable income generation by investing in local entrepreneurship, skills training, and economic opportunities.

Health

Health is crucial to community resilience. We support access to healthcare, sanitation improvements, and educational programs.

OUR JOURNEY

Founded in 2018 by JanaJo Uhlendorf in the USA as a nonprofit organization called Grace and Favor Ministries, we began as a Christian-based initiative with the goal of empowering communities—regardless of faith or beliefs—toward self-sustainable living solutions.
We grew from there, and as we partnered with rural communities across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi, and Tanzania, it became clear that there was an urgent need for sustainable solutions in these regions.
This realization led to our registration in Uganda as Uhlendorf Innovations Africa, a social enterprise committed to collaborating with countless communities in remote areas of Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Burundi to create lasting, positive change.
